## Important limitations
Current functionality varies by provider capability. A raw protocol reader is not a validator, and optional managed indexed services are not mandatory protocol dependencies. Some self-hosted installation workflows are still in development.
The raw Snapchain protocol does not itself provide indexed global search, aggregated follower counts or product notifications.
Configured read nodes and write providers are distinct.
The app continues to be debugged at caster.genyleap.com and is not embedded on the documentation domain.
